Okay, here's my situation as I see it, tell me what you think:

I can stay at my current school

Advantages:

Most selective girls school in state (may or may not matter to admissions ppl)

Have leadership opportunities/ Am involved in ECs

It's free

Disadvantages:

Have to follow the stupid state educational system, basically memorising a lot of facts for boring/irrelevant subjects and jotting down as many as you can remember in final exams

My ECs not all that spectacular, just a few clubs

OR

I can switch to the American International School and take the IB

Advantages:

I'd be taking the IB: much better system of education/ highly regarded

I can start my own clubs

I can continue with my outside ECs, the stronger ones anyway

Disadvantages:

New school

Probably few formal leadership opportunities + school offers few ECs

It costs money

School is not prestigious (may or may not matter)

I'd really appreciate any comments, thanks :)
