I was assigned the Quads on Livingston. At first I was really excited about it, since Livingston was my first choice after all, but I'm no sure if it's a good idea. I'm going to be a Chem major, so most of my classes are going to be on Busch. Also I've heard that a majority of the buses go to Busch, so transportation is easier. BUT I'm in love with the Livingston dining hall haha, and I know that a majority of Freshmen get placed on to Livingston so it's more social. I've also heard that Busch can get very boring at times, and someone even recommended people not to dorm there. I don't know.

It's very late to ask this, but what are the pros and cons of both campuses? From the Rutgers Facebook Group, it seems as though a LOT of people want to switch to the Quads though...

i was actually placed in teh quads too lol. im a comp sci major and need to be on busch…i sent them an email trying to see if they can switch me. id like to see what others have to say about the quads too now

Stay on Livingston… Moving cannot occur till a month or so in. The quads, as ugly as they may look are the biggest rooms on campus and with the new livi apts, there will be a good mix of upperclassmen and freshmen. You will love it there. I moved to Busch due to a position I had and it was a choice i will always regret. Nothing is like livi.

Two years ago, people might have told you to switch to busch, Livi was torn up with all the construction and the dining hall was awful. Everyone rode the bus to busch to eat, but last year the new dining hall on Livi won many over. You had people that switched to busch housing for their sophomore year that were now taking the bus to Livi to eat. RU is definitely putting alot of money into making Livi a choice campus to live on.

the B bus during peak hours was awful to get on. If you got on, and you didnt get a seat you would get squished and hold on to someone so you dont fall. i found it amazing that 2 LX busses would come before a B would…
