should i also take AP biology and honor french 3?
(I really do not like my french teacher)
seniors can have maximum of 2 early release
should i do that instead of taking 8 classes?<br>

<p>It depends on what type of college you are looking to get into. I will say that taking 6 AP’s and getting C’s in two of them will do you no favors.</p>

<p>Noooo, don’t do it, haha. I have a very similar courseload to you this year as a senior, and it’s not worth it. My GPA went from a ~3.9 UW to probably something abysmal. Even though colleges don’t seem to weigh midyear reports as much as the rest of the transcript, it’s still something to keep in mind–having a couple extra B’s or C’s on your transcript is not going to look good. And if you don’t have to take speech or bio, I wouldn’t. </p>
<p>For the schools you listed, I think you’ll be fine, but I’d really recommend taking fewer AP classes. Even if you can handle them, you’ll want to let off the gas a little second semester, believe me.</p>

<p>Don’t underestimate the amount of time required for college apps and essays. I would forgo AP Bio, but you might want to rethink French. Colleges like UT recommend 3 years.</p>
<p>Get in 4 years of a foreign language. Since you’re already taking AP Physics i don’t think its necessary to cram bio in your schedule too. If you plan on majoring in something with science than keep bio and drop one of the easier courses to focus on the harder courses you have.</p>

<p>I have friends who got into BC with only 3-4 APs. (One kid with AP Spanish, Latin and Art, don’t know about the other) The 6 is overkill, you’d rather take 3-4 and do well in them. </p>
