Should I take a break from college?

I just transferred to a university from a cc, and I absolutely hate it. I feel completely unmotivated (which sucks because normally I love learning) and my grades are horrible. My parents won't let me live on campus (they're really strict) nor do they let me linger in the libraries after class (they want me to go straight home). The problem with that is that it is extremely distracting at my house. Also, the commute is absolutely horrible (a 40 minute drive without traffic) which makes me want to go to class even less. Because my parents are so strict, I want to take break to make money so I can move out. Once I have enough money (with the help of financial aid) to pay for the rest of my undergrad education, I plan on returning back to school. (Most of my living expenses will be paid for since I plan on living with my bf). The reason why I wanna pay for my tuition is that I feel bad that I'm probably not gonna get into medical school (which is what my parents want me to do with my bachelors). This entire situation and the pressure of my parents wanting me to go into medical school is making me miserable and hate school. Should I take a break and move out or is this a stupid idea? also, my past 2 quarters have been horrendous because of my poor performance , so would the school even keep me?

You have a complicated situation with many issues, probably more than anybody here can help you with. From your other posts I’m guessing you go to UC Irvine. UC schools have a variety of counselors and advisors available, it would be a good idea for you to start using them. You should talk to an academic advisor to see whether you can take time off and return. You should talk to the people in the financial aid office to see if your expectations for financial aid when you return our realistic. And a counselor at the counseling center can help you wrestle with the many difficult issues you are facing with respect to your family and your future.
