Should I take a free ACT Prep class?

This summer it’s given online and I get credit for it. I know it’s not for students who want a really top score, but it could help me study for my ACTs as I am now right? My only issue is that it’s just a 4.0 class and that would damage my rank and weighted GPA. Also, how would colleges think of this when they see it on my transcript.

It’s free and it’ll likely help, unless you scored high enough on your own already.

Many colleges assume those classes, so seeing one on your transcript will not be held against you and may actually be appreciated as it’s transparent and clearly shows you’re not part of the “start prepping in 7th grade .”
