I've already taken one SATII and I'm definetly taking math II and Physics in November. TThe question is should I take Japanese II as well. I know Harvard states that a score above 600 satisfies the foreign language requirement but should i bother taking the extra SAT II??

If you are sure you will ace your language Ap then a 5 there will
satisfy H's requirement as well. The 600 ont he SAT II lang is relatively
simple however keep in mind that getting a high score in language is
not easy. Also the lang w/listening is only given in Nov.

If all your scores are being sent in, a relatively lower score on the
language might impact the H app?

thanks MIT 012 for your input
I'm pretty sure i can get at least a 600 on japanese if i studied but its not worth it if that extra test might hamper math II and physics

Which SATII did you already take?

world history- 790

You could always take the Japanese test in the spring, or just take a language placement test when you get to Harvard.

If you're going to take them all in one day, just do Japanese last? If you're doing it with listening then it must go first, but otherwise you're ok. I would definitely do it, though. If you plan to continue a language in college, your score can also act as a placement test. And to be honest, the language tests are not very tough, they don't take a lot out of you mentally so there's no issue.
