Should I take a Logic I course?

I'm trying to pick my last elective. My others are PDEs. What's a Logic I course like? I'm considering this one course/professor, and he has good reviews on ratemyprofessor for this course. I'm a physics major, by the way.

take a philosophy course… or a film course…

I’ve already taken Introduction to Philosophy.

Logic is really, really easy. If you took Intro Phil and did well, you should ace it. It’s just formal instruction on formulation of arguments, and a more mathematical approach to dissecting arguments.

My school had a class required for math majors called mathematical reasoning that covered how to do proofs and had a lot of logic in it.

Take a look at the course description and the textbook if you can get a hold of it.

It could be a general Introduction to Logic course which deals with logic, reasoning, debate, etc. and some mathematics to almost all mathematics where you spend most of the time doing proofs.

PHIL 1321: Logic I

Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: MATH 1310. (Math/Reasoning). May not be taken for credit by students who already have credit for PHIL 2321. Techniques for analyzing statements and evaluating arguments, primarily through use of the apparatus of modern symbolic logic.

It’s just a general introductory course, it seems.
