Should I take a Science Senior year?

Hi, I’m currently a Senior and applying to college. My first choice is UT Austin McCombs for business. So, I’m currently in AP physics C and my grade is not so hot. I’m worried I might fail by the end of this year from senioritis + difficulty of the course. I already have 5 science credits: 9th grade - PAP Bio. 10th grade - AP Physics 1, PAP Chem, AP Environmental Science. 11th grade - AP Bio. I’m not going into STEM so would it look bad if I don’t take a science senior year? I was thinking of switching AP Physics C for a business class to show my interest in business. But just wondering does anyone know how strict UT and other competitive colleges are when it comes to taking a core class like science Senior year if you already have enough science credits? Thanks so much!

Also would not taking a science affect my chances at BHP at UT since it’s an honors program but still not STEM related?

As you’ve already taken all 3 sciences, not taking AP physics C shouldn’t be a big deal, as long as the rest of your course load is rigorous. But you said you are already taking the course… does your school have a drop period rn or would this show up as a W on your transcript?

If you are still within the time I would drop AP physics C. A lot of the kids I know only went through the basic AP physics and got into UT with no problem at all.

You have AP Physics I and more than 3 lab sciences already. You really don’t need another AP Physics for any college.
