Hey, so I have a bit of trouble with math. I am taking H Precalc this year with low As at the best and low Bs at the worst for quarter grades. I was thinking about doing AB junior year and BC senior year. What do you think of this? Is it repetitive? I want a solid foundation in calc. Thanks! Also, I am afraid that if I take AP stat senior year, I won't be properly prepared for college level math.

I don’t think you are allowed to take both. Most of BC is AB stuff so I would just go with BC if you want to learn all of it. Does your school offer anything other than AP Stats senior year? Where I am, we have honors advanced math concepts after BC

You are allowed to take both, just not in the same year. But it is mostly pointless to take AB and BC. Unfortunately my school is introducing BC and making AB a prereq which is so stupid.

BC is AB but with a few extra topics. So yes, it is pretty pointless to do both. Most accept the same credit (plus a course for BC) for the AP tests, too.

If you do well in Calculus in your Junior year you will have a fine base for college.
