ACT i think might be easier but i need a lot of preparation and i am a Junior this year
SAT i have started to prep but often get like 1320/ 2400 on the practice test
Please help me decide

If you're good in math and science, take the ACT.
If not, the SAT is for you, my friend.

Take both and see which one yields the higher score.

Take both in my opinion.

Take both and don't send the lower one

Well, if you do worse on the SAT then you have to send it. You don't have a choice. I suggest you study and then take practice tests and which one is higher

SAT (10 chars)

You don't have to send the SAT to anyone. My daughter took it because her school requires them to but we did not put any colleges down as her ACT scores are good for the schools she is applying to. Taking both is a good suggestion. They test really differently. In my Ds case she has always scored highest in reading and lowest in writing in every standardised test she has ever taken including the ACT. In the SAT she scored highest in writing and lowest in reading. Weird.

Personally I thought the ACT was a lot easier. Less sections, less time, less stress. Plus I did a lot better. Try both at least once though, then go from there.
