Should I take an AP Science course if I want to go to a good school?

I don’t plan to go in the STEM route in college. But if I wanted to go into, say, one of the top 20 schools, should I take an AP Science?

What other science courses have you taken?

I’m a sophomore right now.

Last year I took Honors Biology. This year, I’m taking Honors Chemistry.

Best would be to take physics as your 3rd year of science. Ask your counselor if s/he needs you to take a 4th year beyond that or an AP course to get the “most demanding” courses chosen for your counselor report to colleges.
