Should I take an AP science course junior year? I am taking AP chem and Enriched Bio 10th grade, but I heard that because colleges look closely at your junior year schedule, you would be at a disadvantage if you don't take an AP science course 11th grade (which I wouldn't end up doing; I'd only be able to take Enriched Physics).

Is that alright, or should I wait until junior year for AP chem (I've already taken Honors Chem)? I could also take AP Bio, but I likely won't have an interest for that area.

If you want to take an AP science course, take it. I'm sick of kids doing courses to get into college. Sure, I'm taking 4 APs next year as a junior (so few, I know.. not), but it's because I love to learn. Relax, guys, it's summer. You have one life to live.

Yeah, I'd do it. I'm gonna be a junior and I'm taking AP Bio, mostly because my Bio teacher teaches AP and she was AMAZING, but go for it if it's what you want to do.
