Should I take an SAT course online + tips?

So I live outside of the US and there are not many good SAT classes available. I want to take one because I think I'd be better off with an actual class where I can't keep procrastinating or wasting time.
I've been looking at the online classes offered by College Board, Princeton Review, and Kaplan. They are pretty expensive so I'm wondering if it is worth taking it. If so, which one do you think is the best?
By the way, I'm a sophomore and took the PSAT for the first time in October 2013. I scored around a 180, but I am really trying to score around 2300 when I take the SAT.

Thanks, and any other tips would be helpful as well!

Don’t know about the online courses–may not be a bad idea to help keep you focused, though I suspect the bulk of the improvement will come from doing your own practice. My guess is you’d be best off with the College Board one b/c they’re the ones who make up the test questions. Maybe others will know more.

180 is a solid starting point for sophomore year. That still leaves you a ways to go for that 2300 (not saying it’s impossible), so it’s good that you’re thinking about it now.
