Should I take another SAT or an SAT II?

Right now my SAT I is a 2200 (750, 680, 770) but I am confident that if I take it again I can pull up my Math score (maybe not to an 800, but at least to a 730+). My SAT IIs are 750 US History and 670 Math II. I can take another one (Biology) and easily get a 750+ on that. I can't take another after this because of the cost so I am wondering what my last test should be? Some of my colleges require 2 subject tests, others none, and all but two have score choice. I guess overall, what would be better an

My schools are: Brown, Dartmouth, Duke, UPenn, JHU, NYU, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Cornell, and Vanderbilt.

Please help! I am really stressing over which choice to make.

what major are you applying for?

Right now I am putting Biology as my first major and Economics as my second (well pre-med for first, but the “real” majors are Biology and Economics).

You may be better off taking biology. If you apply for economics, your math scores are expected to be higher.

If it is a date issue for SAT, have you considered taking SAT subject and ACT with writing?

Several schools on your list will accept just ACT.

You are showing signs of math weakness on SAT I and Math Level II. Try taking the Math Level I subject test and also take the Biology you were thinking of. You don’t need Math Level II unless you are applying for engineering.

EDIT: Bio test - Bio major, Math Level I - Econ major, & US History

I haven’t considered taking the ACT all too much, but on practice tests I average between 33-34. Would it matter if my math scores increased for the SAT I or are both math scores expected to be higher? I was hoping that the 670 might be able to slip by if the SAT I was good enough. On the practice tests for the SAT I I can get an 800 relatively frequently, but I just freak out during the real thing and wonder “what if” etc. etc. and that always messes me up.

ACT 33-34 is a good score. rhg3rd’s advice is sound - take Biology + SAT II Math I although I hear the curve for Math I is worse than Math II.

“I was hoping that the 670 might be able to slip by if the SAT I was good enough.”

No. The fact you scored lower on the Level II than SAT I means you took the wrong test. Take the Math Level I and toss your Level II score.

EDIT: You are competing against prospective engineering and physics majors on Level II. Math Level I is taken by a wider audience.
