Should I take any community college classes?

Hi, I'm reaching for schools like MIT, and I'm wondering it it's worth it to take community college classes? They offer a CompSci class, but it's kinda basic and teaches VB.NET instead of Java that's used on the AP test. I think the college teachers are generally okay, but I wouldn't take a course just for them. Or should I just focus on self-studying for other APs myself? I'm concerned how much time it'll take for these community classes...

Honestly, CC classes are generally less difficult than APs. Unless you’re continuing your curriculum (like Multivariable Calc), I’m not sure it’s worth the time commitment.

Hmm, I don’t think I’ll apply now then. Thanks for the input. =]
