Should I take AP AB Computer Science online???

This is my sophomoreyear schedule w/out the AP AB Computer Science:

Pre-calc hon
eng hon
chem hon
span 2
ap world
ap stats

EC's:
Planning on competing at ISEF
Cross country
track
Math team
robotics
NHS
Key club
Hospital volunteer

Assuming I am at least moderately involved in all of those ec's, do you think taking ap ab comp science and getting an a along with the other courses is doable?

Idk are you good with software? Try with A instead of AB to be on the safe side.

Well you could study for AB, but the College Board cut the test because barely anyone was taking it. So, it might be smarter just to take A instead.

Your school offers online courses? Or is this just some other online class thing?

CS AB no longer exists.

But you can do it for the sake of learning useful programming. The A curriculum is a joke.

Even a 5 on the AB exam didn’t prepare me to pass out of the intro class at Brown, so don’t study it for that reason. It may be worth learning the material since a basic understanding of programming can help one simulate situations in a variety of fields, too.

You just finished freshman yr and you’re already in NHS?!
