Ok, currently, I am a freshman and have taken bio this year. Next year, I want to take AP Bio along with Chemistry because I have a free period open. Is this a good idea? I am currently doing well in regular biology.

AP bio actually require some knowledge in chem. It’s possible to take it next year with chemistry and do well, but AP bio would be much easier to learn after a year of chemistry.

Do it. Most likely, your bio teacher will teach you the chemistry at the same time.

Does your school offers anatomy class b/c that would be a big advantage for AP bio when your cramming the 11 organ systems when may arrives.
If it doesnt take it. I did it and i got a 3 but thats b/c we just replaced an old AP bio teacher for a new one, which she didnt prepared well for the exam b/c she made us cram the reading at our 2nd semester of school. I really think i could least get a 4
