<p>My school doesn't offer honors or ap physics at my school.</p>
<p>I am looking to take some kind of pre med track in college and I'm debating on what to take in high school.</p>
<p>I took bio freshman year, Chem sophomore year, ap environmental this year, and next year I can't decide between ap bio or physics.</p>
<p>Senior year I will also be taking ap calculus, ap Econ if that should have anything to do with my decision. Opinions?</p>
<p>If you know what schools you are interested to apply, check their websites. Even for pre-med, if a college of arts and sciences lists physics as recommended, you should take it by senior year. Many science type majors also choose to take 2 sciences … one physics and one AP Bio or AP Chem. If you want to go into engineering, then physics is a must, for pre-med, you should get advice from a counselor at your school that has knowledge of what is expected from admissions counselors at colleges that generally accept kids from your high school.</p>
<p>I recommend self-study AP Physics this year and taking AP biology next year, to show that you have knowledge of physics.</p>
<p>I had to decide between both of these two, and I chose to take AP BIology. It’s definitely more interesting, and gets you on the right path for pre-med. Physics is pretty awesome too, so I think you should self-study that if you have the time, but definitely take AP Bio!</p>
