Should I take AP Bio?

I’m going into my senior year, and currently, I have a free period in my schedule. I am already scheduled to take AP Physics C and AP Chemistry. I want to major in Chemical Engineering in college. My question is, should I take AP Bio in my remaining free period? How useful would AP Bio be for Chemical Engineering, and would that AP credit possibly fulfill college class requirements at some universities? I am not really a big fan of biology in general, but I know that some universities have “Schools of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering”, so I’m guessing there would be some biology involved in coursework I take in college.

Basically, I don’t like biology much, but I have a free period, and I’m wondering if I should take AP Bio in addition to AP Physics C and AP Chemistry if I want to pursue Chemical Engineering.

Three AP science classes sounds kinda killer imo. I wouldn’t do it, I’d just take the free period and enjoy senior year

Don’t do it. No point in it. Take your AP Chem, AP Physics, and AP Calc.

@MaryGJ @cherryturtle So you’re sure there’s absolutely no benefit to it? Difficulty aside, because I can deal with that if I need to

NO!!!

You don’t need Bio for Chem E. It woudl reduce the chance of you doing well in the other courses.
