Hi.

I'm currently a junior. I'm in honors trigonometry/precalc right now, and I need to pick a class for next year.

My grades each marking period are 93,85,78,and I'm predicting an 83.

I'm interested in international business. My top schools are USC, Georgetown, and Wash U.

Which math should I take? I want to do well.

I considered both, but is that a bad idea?

Should I only take one?

Thank you!

You can take both, but it’s going to be hard.
My PERSONAL OPINION (please don’t yell at me) is to take AP Stats since you’re majoring in international business.

ap stats is considered an easier AP and if math is not your thing or if you’re worried your schedule will get to packed, take stats.
ap calc (ab or bc?) looks more impressive for admissions and is a more rigorous class.

however, the rigor of the class largely depends on your particular teacher, so I would ask upperclassmen about how hard the classes are just to make sure that calc is harder than stats at your school

I would go with AP Stats. Going to International Business you might actually use it one day.
