I'm going to be a senior this coming August and I'm debating whether or not I should add AP Computer Science A to my classes. The class is not offered at my school, so I would have to take it online (FLVS). I would go ahead and sign up for it but the problem is that I've already signed up to take 6 other AP classes my senior year. Here's my projected schedule:

AP English Lit.
AP Calc AB
AP Chemistry (or AP Biology)
AP U.S. Gov. (1st semester) / AP Macroeconomics (2nd semester)
AP Art History
Lit in the Arts (an English honors class)
Gaming & Design (an elective)

My school has a block schedule, so we only take four classes per day.

I've taken AP Human Geography in 9th grade, AP World in 10th grade, and 3 APs this past 11th grade year. And this year with 3 APs, I did not really feel overwhelmed. There were some rare times that I felt stressed, but overall I was okay. And I have A's in all three of those APs (AP Eng Lang, AP Psych, APUSH).

I'm thinking about signing up for AP Comp Sci A on FLVS and starting during the summer and finishing the course at least before May of my senior year. I really want to take this class because I want to major in computer science. I have some programming experience, just with a few of the basics of Python.

Would it be overwhelming and overworking myself if I took AP Comp Sci A on FLVS along with the 6 APs I would take at school?
