My school offers 9 AP classes. I want to go to very selective colleges, ivy leagues, University of Chicago, Northwestern, Stanford.

I'm a Sophomore and I am already taking 1 AP class. I plan on taking 6 more (not including AP Computer Science)

That is 7 out of 9 AP classes offered. The other AP is worst- AP Studio Art (suck at Art)

Is that enough for the colleges I want to apply to or should I take AP Computer Science even though it really doesn't interest me?

why would you take Ap comp sci if it doesn’t interest you? i am taking it right now and i love it, however it can be very tedious(due to the syntax) and you have to have pretty good problem solving and organizational skills. you are better off taking another AP class like statistics or AB/BC calc because they are quite interesting and not as tedious and they are easy(unless you have my stats teacher).

YES. Its a jokingly EASY class. I can make programs off the spot(Well because I started in 7th grade).

If it doesn’t interest you, you’ll most likely fail the class by learning it the “rote” way, instead of the more logically way…

Don’t take classes “just to get into college”. If the field of computer science doesn’t interest you, don’t take it.
