Should I take AP French senior year?

I've heard it's not that hard but a lot of work. I'm currently in French 4R (our school doesn't offer honors for some reason) and had a 94 average for the first semester. French is my favorite subject but I just don't know if it will be too much for me because I'm always so busy but I would still be willing to put in the work. My main concern is the final AP exam, if I don't get a 4 or 5 my credits won't be accepted by most colleges and this will be my first AP class of high school so I don't know...

My schedule for next year(senior year) would probably be:
Pre-calc honors
Participation in gov honors(half year)
Economics honors(half year)
Physics regents or honors(most likely regents...)
Journalism(half year)
Film crit(half year)
internship class(half year)

At many colleges, previous high school or college course work or AP credit for foreign languages may only be advisory for placement, so that actual placement may be through departmental placement tests.

If you like French, then just take the next level. Whether or not you take the AP test (and whatever you score if you do), the college you attend should give you proper placement in French courses there.
