I'm sort of stuck on if I should take the AP english class in an already busy schedule instead of English 11. Here's my 11th grade schedule:

Symphony Band
AP World History
Japanese III
Personal Fitness
AP Biology
Honors Pre-calculus
English 11- World Lit - There are no Honors English classes after 10th grade so the required choices are AP Lit or Lang or regular english.

The only really tough classes you have are AP Biology and AP World History, I believe. Correct me where you will as I don’t go to your particular school. You should definitely be able to manage it. I mean, come on! You are on CC for God’s sake. Suck it up and be a man! ;-)

I forgot to mention that my classes run on a trimester schedule and I have five classes everyday of the week

Well, how much homework are you getting right now with this load? Are you bogged down and stressed out? If not, take AP English hands down.

If you haven’t started this course load yet, wait until it starts and gage how much more you can handle.

Five solids is pretty standard for highly selective colleges. Go with AP-Lang in 11th grade and AP-Lit in 12th.
