Should I take AP Physics C next year?

So, I am a junior and I'm in AP Physics B this year. We just finished 2nd semester (since the class wraps up before the AP test) and I got a 95.2. I got a 92.3 first semester. I signed up for AP Chem next year since I was scared away from what I heard about AP Bio and AP Physics C, and AP Chem turned out to be my best option as far as science goes for next year (heard it was also pretty easy). I'm also taking AP Calc AB next year, and am in PreCalc Honors this year. As for my view on Physics, I had a hard time first semester getting adjusted to Physics in general, and I tried learning from my textbook and my teacher's lectures exclusively (my AP physics teacher this year was terrible). However, I got adjusted to Physics 2nd semester, and I started relying heavily on the AP Prep book (5 Steps) and watched Khan Academy's videos online, and did much better this semester, and had an easier time with Physics in general, especially since 2nd semester material was generally a tad easier than 1st semester. I've generally heard that AP Physics C was difficult, but I really haven't talked directly to anyone who's taken the class. So should I take the class, considering my solid performance in AP Physics B this year? I'm also leaning towards an engineering major, so Physics C would also be helpful for that. I also kinda want a relaxing senior year, since this year has been a living nightmare for me, and I don't want to potentially ruin next year by taking Physics C, but I could probably put that issue aside if the class isn't that bad and if it's something I need to take next year. So, does anyone know how hard it actually is, and is it important that I take it next year, based on what I wrote above?

AP physics C is calculus based. If you havent taken calculus yet (atleast Calc AB) then it probably isnt a good idea.

I’ll be taking Calc AB AP concurrently with Physics C AP. The course description for it at my school says you need to be at least concurrently enrolled in Calc AB AP to take Physics C AP, so I should technically be at a high enough level of math. I know that there are some seniors this year who took Physics C AP while taking Calc AB AP.

Yeah that makes sense…Honestly, the only calc ull be doing in physics C are the basics like integrating and deriving

Have you taken the course? Is it a difficult class?

No. My friend self-stuided the mechanics portion of the course and took the AP exam. He said it was harder then the chem exam but that was probably because he self-studied. But I would imagine it being the hardest course if it was offered at our school.

bumpppppppppp

I took the class this year alongside AP Calc AB. Mechanics was easy, Electricity was a bit tough, and magnetism was from Satan. I got a 93 last semester and an 88 this semester
