What are the pros and cons? How well did you do? How hard is the AP exam on a scale of 1-10?
I’m in it and got an A+ first semester. A lot of people get 5s. I’d say 3/10 relative to other AP classes. The questions are not hard at all but there a lot of terms to remember.
I took many AP’s in my high school career, and AP Psychology was the easiest. Along with it being an interesting and fun course, as long as you pay attention in class you should ace the tests. I got a 5 with studying for one weekend - very easy 5 overall, and fulfills a humanities requirement in college!
If you are interested, and if you have English, Math, Science, Your history requirements fulfuilled and a foreign languave then you should take it.
About a negative 37. 
It is by far the easiest AP exam that I ever took, and that’s without taking the class and studying a prep book over a weekend.
As @bopper says, if you have an interest, and it does not impact another core subject, go ahead and take it.
