I'm a junior and I took Prob and Stat this year and loved the class, even though math has never been my strong area. I'm considering taking AP Stat next year instead of pre-calculus, or the easier and pointless "Math Modeling" class. I'm worried about the difficulty level (without pre-calc) and taking 3 APs. I like how the class can be applied to any major, as opposed to precalc, which is only really helpful if you're going into physics or engineering. I'm going to major in journalism. What should I do?

Here's what my schedule would look like:

AP Stat
AP Modern European History
AP Literature
Crime Scene Forensics
Broadcast Journalism
Psychology
Humanities
Gym/Health

I think many schools like to see through pre-calculus but I may be wrong.
However, I think AP stat is manageable without pre-calc. At my school, you are allowed to take it junior or senior year, and precalculus is taken during junior year for most kids. So those juniors taking stat don’t have it as a prerequisite. So I’m guessing it is fine. I have yet to take the course myself, but I am pretty sure there wouldn’t be much if any precalc concepts.
I don’t know if I could speak to your schedule as a whole. I think it is nice, but I haven’t actually taken any of those classes so I cannot say. I think it could be a lot, but I don’t know you so it is very possible that you can manage it.
