Should I take BIO 1A W/O Passing OChem

I mean no one checks this right? Should I take bio1a even though i didnt pass chem 3a? i heard you dont use any ochem in bio 1a. and even though you do i think i can manage to go back and study. is it possible and should i do this?

The amount of ochem needed in bio 1a is miniscule. You can learn all of that on the spot. However, be careful of overloading yourself if you retake chem and take bio in the same semester. Bio 1a + lab is known for being stressful. Treat them like two classes.

how did you do on that ochem final monday, elcamino? How do you already know that you failed?

But the thing I am worried about is, the prerequisite for Bio 1A is Chem 3A. Is this just for my own good or will I get kicked out of Bio 1A if someone finds out?

Bump, does anyone have any ideas?

You need at least a C- or higher in Chem 3A to be able to take Bio 1A. I think that for impacted classes like Bio 1A they are more stringent on you meeting prereqs.

I know that, but how do people check or know?

I don't remember anyone ever enforcing these prereqs for any course I've taken.
