Should i take Bio M or Bio E?

I am taking AP bio right now, and i am just gonna use my cliffs ap bio to study, but i dont know which test to take, E or M...we are not to those chapters yet, so it really does not bother me on which one i take, i just want to know the easier one....(if there is one)

what do you suggest i take?

ecology is by far the easier one

bump bump bump bump

personally, i think ecology is a lot easier, but if u look at the percentages, a higher percentage of test takers do better on the M than on the E, and my ap bio teacher also suggested that i take the M (i ended up taking the E). What you should do is study all the material and on the day of the test, quickly skim through the questions and decide which one you would do better on and take that test.

most take M since ap bio concentrates much more on the molecular side of things. Of course it al depends on the person. A lot of the questions will be the same anyways

I finished the entire M test with enough time to read every E question. I thought E was harder.

anyone else have opinions? and what exactly is on the molecular test & ecology test?

bumpetpy bumpety bump

oh come on.......help me!

molecular is with...well molecular biology, more in-depth for cell anatomy and physiology, diseases? i don't remember...

ecology, also a pretty self-explanatory name, deals more with the larger picture, climax communities, symbiotic relationships, tertiary levels, that type of thing

I found molecular easier, but I'm not sure if that was because I enjoyed the molecular level chapters more or because we had done the ecology unit at the beginning of the year and I took the SAT 2 at the end of the year.

I'm taking M, I think it'll be easier

I thought ecology was easier, but then again, I never took molecular. Which did you prefer in your first year bio course, if you took one?

hmm. any other opinions...

i'd say molecular is more memorization.. while ecology u can get away w/ using more common sense as long as u know the basic terms.

Yes, y00nsk, I agree that M Bio is a lot of memeorization. I took E Bio - 760
