I am planning on taking PHYS 218 second semester of my freshman year and I was wondering which chemistry class for engineering is better for me to take during my first semester of college.
Chem 107/117 in my opinion. Chem 101 is very generic and not even a required course.
Ah I see. And, would you consider the workload in Chem 117 to be high?
@curiousapp111, it depends on your area of study. Unless something has changed, those applying for Chemical Engineering are required to take CHEM 101/111 as well as CHEM 102/112, while other engineering majors take CHEM 107/117. Best to look at your degree plan.
