Should I take courses in my major although I don't need them?

Hi guys, let’s say I’m majoring in Poli Sci. I have completed all the pre-requisites listed on assist.org. I have the luxury to take whatever classes I want for Spring. Do you think taking Poli Sci courses that are not required is better than taking an Art History class?
