Should I take CS61CL before CS61B? Help me plan for the first sememster

I'm a new transfer student majoring in computer science (L&S).
I have to take CS61BC, EE42, and CS70 before declaring major in CS.

I heard that CS61B with Hiilfinger (Fall '09) is extremely hard.
Should I take CS61CL with Culler (Fall '09) before CS61B??

And which plan
(CS61CL + EE42 and CS61B + CS70) or
(CS61CL + CS70 and CS61B + EE42) is better?

Fall '09:
CS61CL (Culler)
(CS70 or EE42)
History 7A (to satisfy AC + AH)
Need 1 or 2 more units

Spring '10:
CS61B
(CS70 or EE42)
Math course (double major)
Research

I'd really appreciate your opinions. Thank you so much!

Sorry. In Spring '10, only CS61BL (Clancy) is offered.
CS61C is taught by Garcia D in Spring '10.
Thanks.

yeah I heard that cs61b is going to be really hard in the fall with that teacher so i will not be taking it then either! i was planning on taking 61c in the fall but now that you say that d garcia is teaching it in the spring it is making want to wait off on both because i had garcia in fa08 for cs3 and he was really enthusiastic about teaching

Take 61B in the fall and 61C in the spring. Both classes will teach you a lot and make you learn. I know people who have gotten in A+s in both, it’s totally doable if you want to be a programmer one day.
