Ok, so like two months ago, I had signed up for November test. Before Nov. test, I had decided to sign up for December test just in case I did badly on the Nov. test. However, now that the scores have come out, I found out that I scored 2280 (760 CR, 800 Math, 720 Writing). I don't think I'd be able to score any higher than this, since CR and Math were just luck (I could've improved my 10/12 essay though). So the question is, should I go to the Dec. test? I don't know if it will say that you canceled the Dec. test if you don't go or something. That was also my first time taking the SAT and I haven't had time to study for the Dec. one since.

Colleges don't really take a look at Writing. With your Math and CR, you have a 1560/1600 which is excellent. If you believe in what you said, I don't even know if you'd be able to score higher on another CR section since 1 question wrong can significantly drop your score. Keep it, you'll love it, and so will the colleges you apply to. Well done!

Can you tell me which books you used to study by the way?

I used that one Sparknotes book, not realizing that it's available free online. I took the practice tests on the collegeboard site, and skimmed through a kaplan 2400 (this book didn't help much though, I knew like everything after reading the sparknotes book). I'll probably go to the Dec. one. Hopefully my score stays around the same.

you get 4 free score reports... make use that $40!

you could give the subject tests if you want to improve in them.
