Should I take full or partial IB?

I’m in grade 9 right now and I’m wondering about whether or not I should take the IB program in grade 11. Our system in Canada here is kind of different, but I guess an international education should be the same. I have 3 options: 1. Take full IB 2. Take partial IB or 3. take standard high school education. I want to get into UBC - a university that requires around 38/45 on the IB program to get in. If I take full IB then my courses in grade 11 will look like:

IB English HL
IB French SL
IB Chemistry HL
IB Physics HL
IB Math SL
IB Psychology HL or maybe IB History HL
TOK

If I take partial then it will probably look like:

English 11
Pre-Calculus 11
French 11
IB Chemistry HL
IB Physics HL
Biology 11
Social Studies 11

I’m kind of trying in school right now and my current grades are:

English 9: 85%
Math 9: 89%
Science 9: 99%
Socials 9: 94%

Based on all this, could anyone tell me whether or not it is a good idea for me to take full IB or partial? If I take full I will need to get at least 38/45 IB points and a minimum of 5 in IB English HL over the 2 year period. Thanks in advance.

Can you get into UBC with partial IB? If full IB is the only way you can reach your goals, then you better do full IB. You have nothing to lose. If you try full IB and don’t succeed, then you will still have completed partial IB.

To make it easier, do 3 HLs instead of 4 and only do one science HL.

I can get into UBC with a 90% average, so maybe partial IB is the way to go
