Should I Take It?

You're not going to get your money back at this point; the test date is this Saturday. You might want to call the College Board and see whether you can apply the fee to another test date, though. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the phone number: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/testday.html As for how you cancel the test, it's simple. You just don't show up.

Whether it makes sense for you to wait until October depends on 1) whether you plan to apply anywhere ED or EA, and 2) whether you need to take any SAT Subject Tests that you have not taken yet. You don't want to run out of test dates to take all the tests you need. If you're applying ED or EA, you may need to complete all of your testing by October or November. Will you still be able to do this if you don't take the June SAT?

In answer to #4, they won't know, and if they did know, they wouldn't care.
