Since I found out I can take math 2 instead of math 1 I am seriously giving some thought to take math 2. I am taking pre-calc right now, but I have already learned the majority of trig stuff from the year before. Do you think I should spend two days cramming for the test? I think there is a possibility that I would get higher on the math II anyways. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I went from honors Algebra II to Calculus. Since there wasn’t much coverage of trig, i struggled a little in AP Calc, but I’m fine now.

As for the exam, skipping precalculus did hurt me (although the precalc at my school was just a repeat of algebra II so it wouldn’t have done me any good anyway).

Make sure you know trig, some random statistics stuff, polar coordinates, etc. that you would most likely not learn in school anyway. :/

Even in Calc, I studied for a month with a tutor from barrons, and I got a 640. Needless to say I was disappointed. I found my main problem though was timing and formulas, so if you’re going to do last minute cramming I suggest take practice tests and remember some formulas (like law of cosines and sines)

Good luck! : )

two words for you: TI 89. Problem solved.

^ I don’t have a ti 89
