I say take Math Level II again. If you get 740 or something around that or better, send that. If you get lower, send Math Level I. Anything above 700 is generally good though. It may depend if you’re majoring in math or business; then Brown might want to see higher scores. But you’re in good shape. Brown doesn’t put too much weight on subject tests.

yeah im applying as a Chemistry/Biological Science Major,

but the problem is that i wont know my scores in time? Since January is the last test date, i have to automatically send it. Brown will get the score before i do?

Though i probably could gauge how well i did as well after the test day.

Take Math II again, as it’s always much preferred, but just send both. If you send a score report, it automatically sends all SAT I and II scores at once. You’d have to use score choice to exclude either. So, relax, ace the test, and send off those scores. They’re looking good.

Take math II again and see how it goes. The only thing that’s hard about math II is that you have to work really really fast and be on your toes. Find multiple books and just do practice test after practice test. I basically spent just one week studying, but I did it constantly. And take into consideration that the curve is much higher for Math II. I’m sure that if you put your mind to it you can get better than 700, I got an 800 and I had really really bad grades in Pre-Cal the year before. Really bad grades, like C’s, not like “oh, I got an 89, woe is me”. So have hope! I’m sure you’ll do much better this time around. =)
