Should I take Ms Analytics in American University?

Hi Everyone.

I got accepted in Ms. Analytics in Kogod School of Businesss American University and my government (Indonesia) will pay all of my cost (tuition, living cost, airplante ticket, etc ,etc). Since my undergraduate degree is in Management International Business, I do not have many subject in quantitative and math hence it is quite hard for me to get accepted in this major. However, I am done with all the conceptual study. I want to take a degree where it contains lot of subject in calculation. My plan in the future is to take Ph.D and to work in overseas consultant. I can speak Spanish (B1) French (DELF B2). I have applied to 15 universities in France but they rejected me because I did not meet the pre-requisite (my background).

I knew AU is a great university but the flagship (as far that i know) is in SIS not in Kogod. However I still doubt whether to take it or not due to several considerations:

  1. Can I continue to Ph.D with my degree from this university? I heard that the inclination of this major is for professional.
  2. What is the recognition of Kogod School of Business? Is it globally recognize?
  3. All in all should I take this opportunity? Please give me the reason why I should or should not take it.

I know it sounds very banal but the I really appreciate the insight and opinion regarding my situation. Given there are so many informations on internet, personally as an Indonesian I feel confused which one to trust withouth their own interest in giving me the information.

Regards.
