Should I take PE over the summer???

In my high school, two years of PE is required in order to graduate, but I seriously don’t want to take it my sophomore year. I’m a freshman rn and PE is neutral. I’m not the most athletic or the least athletic person, so I have an A.

Sophomore year, we have the option to take regular PE for 10th graders or Dance 1 (heard that you don’t really dance you just learn about dancing) I would totally join Dance 1 because it’s soooo much easier, but taking PE imo is such a waste of a class because I’m not going to take Dance 2 any year.

I really want to take Advanced art instead of PE sophomore year so that I can take AP Studio Art senior (but I’m not planning to be an Arts Major or anything, it’s just a hobby). If I don’t, I won’t be able to take AP Studio Art my senior year, only advanced Art.

So, should I take PE over the summer? If you did take a PE class over the summer either online or in a local college, what did you do? How much did it cost you? Is AP Studio Art really worth it?
