should i take pre calc honors over the summer?

ive had an a all year for my algebra 1 honors, algebra 2 honors, and geometry honors classes. i will be a junior next year taking 4 ap classes with pre calc honors. i also do not have a clue what i want to major in for college or what i want to do as a job/living.

ive wanted to get done with all the math class that they are offering at my school, which includes ap calc and ap stats, just in case for college, but since im taking pre calc honors next year i wont be able to take both ap calc and ap stats… only ap calc OR ap stats my senior year.

should i take pre calc honors over the summer than take ap calc next year and ap stats my senior year? ( making it 5 ap calsses next year)

btw the other classes i would be taking next year is ap computer principles, ap physics, apush, ap lit, and a study hall.

My son went to an all honors school with APs. His school had an accelerated pre Calc over the summer in 5 weeks. This was perfect for him. He would of been bored to have to take it for the whole year. If your strong in math I say go for it.

I agree - especially this summer, during which very little will be going on, would be a great time to take pre-calc, especially if you want the choice of taking AP Calc next year or senior year, as well as a choice of AP Calc, AP Stats, or both.
