Hi... i was wondering if it is worth it for me to take precalc over the summer so that i could get into ap calc my senior year. Heres my story

Im a junior with a 3.8 GPA and im taking all advanced classes. I moved to a new town end of eight grade and was put into algebra one my freshman year. I wasnt aware that i should have taken algebra II that year so that i could progress towards ap calc. Now my two options are either take pre-calc my senior year, or take a 600 dollar course over the summer and take ap calc my senior year (im also doing ap bio). Would it be a deal breaker when admission time comes if i were to not take ap calc? (im looking at BU BC North eastern Umass amherst and a few other similar schools... if i dont take ap calc, ap bio would be my only ap class) I was thinking that it wouldnt be as big of a deal because my school doesnt offer too many ap classes for me to choose from anyway. What do you think?
