So, I just got my SAT Scores for May back. 1870 composite. That is the same score I got in January. I self-studied for both, although I prepped more for May. If I superscore, it’s a 1900. I improved in CR and Math but decreased in Writing. I am applying to FSU, Albany, Rutgers, Penn State and Ohio State. I wanted certain scholarships from some of these schools, most of which require a 28-30 ACT and/or 1260/1960 SAT for these scholarships. I have been getting 30 on the ACT and think I can even get higher. I just don’t know if I should register late for June SAT. Obviously I would have limited study time. I just don’t know what to do. Is it worth it? Or just try for ACT?
First of all, the universities you just started don’t super score. Second of all, yes you should take the SAT or ACT again.
@NexusLover Really? So if I get a 30 on the ACT, maybe I should just submit that?
What would be the chances I improve a third time, say if I sign up late for June?
Yes. If you get the 30 submit that definitely.
Yes. If you get the 30 submit that definitely.
I agree with IHeartMath. Look your scores will definitely get you into the universities you are asking about… It’s the scholarships that require higher scores.
@NexusLover @IHeartMath123 Thank you guys. I need to apply EA for scholarships though, so I think I’m just taking the ACT in June and hoping for a 30 on that. The next SAT after June is October and there is simply not enough time, considering my first application is due October 15th. Thank you though.
