Should I take my SATs for the third time (went from 1920 to 2080, shooting for a 2200) or take SAT IIs in October? I really need to cover SAT Bio, Chem, and Math 2 but my June SAT score was so disheartening...I feel like taking any SAT in November is pushing the deadline, but I really need help setting a priority.

If you are a rising senior and have not taken any subject tests that are required by the schools you are going to apply, you’d better fulfill the SAT2 requirement first. Otherwise, you don’t even qualify for application.

I agree with bill, if you haven’t taken any SAT2 tests yet, I would focus on that for Oct. Then if you want to, take SAT1 in November.

Sounds like you are planning to apply ED. If so, check the school site to see what the latest SAT scores they will accept. Most, you can send the Nov scores directly to the schools. The disadvantage there is you won’t get to see scores first but if you are already tight on time, you may have no choice. Others may be more flexible with sending scores.
