Should I take sat subject tests for GA tech?

I feel like I should take sat subject tests for tech, but I’m worried that it’s too late because the ga tech EA date is oct 25 and a subject test date is oct 3. Is it too late or should I take it and submit it.
How important are sat subject tests anyhow for admissions. I feel like I should take it.

Not required apparently.

GA Tech does not require them, but who knows, it might give you a leg. They can certainly help if you know you can do well on them (700+). Also, you can get advanced placement for Chemistry and English. For Chemistry, the minimums are 680, and 730. For English (Literature) the minimum is 750. I’m guessing if you get these scores you can skip a more basic class.

I forgot to mention this: The only problem is that the October test’s scores release on the 28th. Maybe you could take chem/lit and use score choice for them (that way they’re sent to the college immediately once scores come out). Contact the admissions office and ask if that’s okay.
