Should I take SAT World History?

Hey,
I'm new to CC. I'm a sophomore currently taking Honors World History( no AP World offered at my school). I am very interested in history, and I am pretty knowledgeable about it due to the courses I've taken and just my interest in general. I was thinking about taking the SAT subject test for World History in June. I took a practice test and got a 560 without any studying, which I think is decent. I definitely want 730 or above. I have an A in the class, which certainly isn't easy. However, we do not cover a lot of the ancient history, which I would have to learn myself. Is it worth taking? I know it will be a lot of studying but if I just get Barron's I guess I'll be fine....

Im in AP World History, and I have been told that the SAT ll World History Exam is super difficult. It’s honestly up to whether you are willing to put the time into studying for that exam (and when I say studying I mean A LOT). You sound like a good student, and you could probably do really well if you study hard! Good luck! :)

btw I do not plan on taking the SAT ll World History exam and I have an A in my world history class. But thats just me haha…

I recommend you take the “real” practice tests and read the Official College Board explanations in this book which has two released exams :
