I'm a junior and on my first try taking the ACT right after preparing I got a 33. I know that's a really good score, but I really want to go for that 34 or maybe even 35, but I haven't prepared in a while. Say I take it and get lower or even bomb it badly; will colleges see this? I've heard that Ivy Leagues average all your ACT scores and I am planning on applying to a few Ivy Leagues. I'm signed up for the ACT this weekend, please help.

If you plan on going to Ivy League, you might as well take it again. Remember that the best students in the nation are applying to these schools. Therefore, they will have a better ACT than a 33. Study hard and prepare for the ACT and aim for a 34,35. Don’t be worried about scoring worse next tiime. As long as you put in the preparation and study, you will either do the same or improve. Even though you haven’t prepared in a while just take some practice tests and time yourself. Good luck this weekend.
