Should I take the ACT again?

I just finished junior year and am considering taking the ACT again in September. I got a 31 my first time but I think I could get a point or two higher if i take it again. But, if I don't take it again I could start my college applications this summer. I am an IB diploma candidate, so I will have a lot of work due during the first half of the school year and an early start on college applications would be helpful. My top three schools are Michigan State, University of Minnesota, and University of Maryland. Any advise would help. Thanks!

Michigan State: 2013 Class Composite ACT: 23-28 (Middle 50%)
University of Minnesota: Average ACT score for Biological Sciences and Science and Engineering was a 30.4 and a 31 respectively. (More info <a href=“Academic Profile of Fall 2022 Admitted Freshman Applicants by College | Office of Admissions”>http://admissions.tc.umn.edu/academics/profile.html</a>)
University of Maryland: " the middle 50% of SAT scores ranged from 1260 to 1410, and 28-32 on the ACT. "

It seems like your score is fine.

No need to take again.

no need to take again, wouldn’t be bad to take it again without too much studying, but work on college apps
