Should I take the ACT again?

Ok so I am a current Junior, just go my February scores back and dont know if I should take the test again.
I have taken the ACT 3 times before first: 23 second: 24 third: 27
My english score went up 5 point to a 32 which really helped me get that 27. Never thought that I would be able to do that on my third try and I’m kind of worried that if I take it again my score might go down. I might have just gotten really lucky because i didnt think I did that well.
I am not applying to any elite colleges, just state universities. But at one of the schools that I am looking at if I can get a 28 on the ACT than I can get a generous scholarship. Do you think 27 was my peak? I just dont want my score to go down and lose courage. TWO QUESTIONS: Should I take it again? what do you think my chances are of increasing it one more point to a 28 ? THANKS

anyone… PLEASE

I would recommend taking it again, because the money you spend on the act is much less than the scholarship would offer. If it would just be for admission I would recommend not as you probably would get in anyways. Put the effort in your weakest subjects, but do not neglect your strengths.
Good luck.

I’m think you should hold what you got. A 27 is a pretty good score. It should get you in to most State colleges.

Remember, you don’t have to submit your last score if you don’t want to. I would recommend retaking it, just to be sure. Congratulations on the great improvement!

Considering you could qualify for merit awards if you have a 28, I’d take the test again. If it goes down you don’t have to send that score.

Seeing the upward trend in your scores, I would definitely take it at least once more

@Undecided2020 -try it again if one more point means more merit scholarship monies. It would be well worth it. You are propable about 10-12 correct answers away from moving one point if your English stays the same.
