both if you can, and then chose one to send to colleges.

since when is the SAT $41

I paid $22 3 times.

Since the new writing section was added.

wooo $22?? it was that cheap

How do ya'lls SAT scores compare with yall's ACT scores?

The sat is $26, where do you get $41.

I never took the ACT, not really big the the Northeast.

My son took the SAT I--old version twice & new version once. He also took the ACT. He scored 98-99% on both & both are listed on his HS transcript, so all colleges he applies to will see both (doesn't harm him anyway, shows he's consistent).
The GC here recommends that all students take both tests because some do better on one type than the other. They also recommend that all students take some SAT IIs; he has & those are also on his HS transcript. Not sure, but believe their AP results are also on the HS transcript, as well as a course he took at a college over the summer in Statistics.
On a side note, many colleges do NOT require you to pay extra to send scores to them if your HS transcript includes them (but some colleges require scores to be sent directly from the testing company--check each college's info).

a 27 composite ACT score converts into 1220 SAT I (m+v,old version)
