I took the SAT in January and got CR 720 , M 800, W 760 (total 2280). My SAT IIs are Math II 800, Physics 790, Chemistry 790. I'm trying to get into schools like MIT, Stanford, Caltech, but at the information sessions I've been to so far they've stressed that taking tests again and again just to get a minimally higher score is pointless. I think that the ACT will be a waste of time because I will get a score similar to my SAT score. I also don't want to have to study for another standardized test. But a lot of my friends have been urging me to take the ACT because they say it is easier. Thoughts?

Man those scores are amazing. The only advice I can give you is that the ACT can help you boost your acceptance rate and looking at you SAT score , you should be able to take the ACT without studying and walk out with an extraordinary score
